Yes, it can hurt to dig up that baggage. Yes, it can seem kind of pointless reliving it just to give it away. Why not just keep it buried and move on?
Because it doesn’t stay buried. It will begin to quietly bleed into your closest relationships, the people you love the most, and it will begin erecting walls between them and you. It may have nothing to do with them, but it will affect them.
My 2.5 year old is saved because of this show, and your little ones can experience the same thing. For us, it all start with watching JellyTelly and “What’s in the Bible?”
We are believers. Believers of what? We believe in God the Father, we believe in Jesus Christ, we believe in the Holy Spirit, and that He has given us new life (thank you, Newsboys!).
While every blog you follow should be an exceptional one, the heart of each will vary depending on what you are looking for.
The first step of finding an exceptional blog actually starts with you. If you don’t know what you are looking for, you will never find it!
Allowing the Holy Spirit to be the boss of a meeting changes the atmosphere, physically and spiritually.
He opens hearts that have been hurt and need healing
He activates His gifts (the gifts of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 12)
He shows up in hugs, smiles, and tears
Does this scenario sound familiar?
You sit down to do study the Bible and you see:
Half full coffee cup, open Bible, and beautifully hand-penned notes… and you think, “Photo opt!” You take your picture, perfect it, share it, and then carry on with your day.
And you never think about finishing the Bible study.
Often when faced with the decision to leave a church, we go about it in the wrong way. We focus on our feelings being justified and how we have been wronged.
I’m hear to tell you, your feelings don’t matter.
Have you ever told someone who is having a rough season that “things are going to get better”? Well, guess what, you have prophesied. Prophecy is building someone up and encouraging someone in the most basic of form.
As Christians, we widely agree that God created man and this entire world, right? That would make our God a highly creative individual.
Just look at the array of landscapes He made. The colors the leaves change in the fall. The different flavors of heirloom tomatoes. The softness of a cat. The melody of a robin. The scent of jasmine. God is creative.

When I was in high school, we still used physical BOOKS to do our research.
Yeah, I’m that old.
