It reminds us where we come from but it doesn’t leave us there, it calls us higher, the same way God calls us higher.
Once we realize that the junk we deal with on a daily basis stems from things we cannot see, it is easy to feel overwhelmed…until we realize Jesus already won these battles for us.
Jesus won, guys. He won all of our battles. The battle against sin, against the enemy, against the strife inside of us. HE WON.
Marriage is an adventure. Adventures challenge you, surprise you, exhilarate you, and sometimes piss you off. Don’t be caught unawares.
10 months ago my baby hadn’t even breathed oxygen and now here he is, contemplating the stairs. I know my baby is small right now but I also know that he will grow. My experience tells me that he will grow bigger and stronger and the stairs will be a breeze, something he will try taking two at a time eventually. But he doesn’t know that.
It is important for you and me to be authentic and honest with ourselves about where we are at, God knows what is going on in our hearts but He can’t help us with that if we won’t face the music.
Yes, it can hurt to dig up that baggage. Yes, it can seem kind of pointless reliving it just to give it away. Why not just keep it buried and move on?
Because it doesn’t stay buried. It will begin to quietly bleed into your closest relationships, the people you love the most, and it will begin erecting walls between them and you. It may have nothing to do with them, but it will affect them.
My 2.5 year old is saved because of this show, and your little ones can experience the same thing. For us, it all start with watching JellyTelly and “What’s in the Bible?”
We are believers. Believers of what? We believe in God the Father, we believe in Jesus Christ, we believe in the Holy Spirit, and that He has given us new life (thank you, Newsboys!).
While every blog you follow should be an exceptional one, the heart of each will vary depending on what you are looking for.
The first step of finding an exceptional blog actually starts with you. If you don’t know what you are looking for, you will never find it!
Allowing the Holy Spirit to be the boss of a meeting changes the atmosphere, physically and spiritually.
He opens hearts that have been hurt and need healing
He activates His gifts (the gifts of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 12)
He shows up in hugs, smiles, and tears
