Welcome to the amazing world of Bible journaling! It is totally normal to feel overwhelmed at first. Please read our helpful article to get started by clicking here.

This is a hard question to answer because it depends on what is most important to YOU. Ask yourself a few questions:

  • What is the most important thing in a journaling Bible to me (translation, space to journal, portability, readability, guided inspiration, etc)?
  • Where do I plan on using my journaling Bible (in church, at home, on the go)?
  • What are my journaling goals (inspired art, capturing meditations, study, etc)?

If you can answer those questions, you will be well on your way to deciding which journaling Bible you should get!

There are countless supplies that are safe to use in your Bible, but also a great many that are unsafe and will damage your pages. Our “Approved List” is just a small sampling of journaling supplies that are safe to use in your Bible but we are 100% about these ones because we’ve used them ourselves.
