Today is day 3 of our 5 day Battle Challenge! If you’ve been struggling to maintain the peace in your mind and heart during this season, this challenge is for you!
Every day for the next 5 days, I will sharing Scripture and we will use it to repeat the 5 Rs:
1. Read my Bible, 2. Recite Scripture out loud, 3. Replace negative thoughts with Scripture, 4. Review what God has already done for me, 5. Reach out to others asking how I can pray for them and if they have any physical needs.

TODAY'S SCRIPTURES TO READ:
James 1 (AMP), 1 Peter 1:3-9 (AMP, TPT), Jeremiah 29:11-13 (AMP)
KEY POINTS
James 1 has so much packed into it that is relevant for our time RIGHT NOW. Don’t just read it, dive into it! Read it again and again. Take notes to what jumps out at you and implement the Word in your life.
If you are facing a dark season right now (lost your job, dealing with depression, etc), remember to rejoice because you have a home in heaven. Heaven is more wonderful than we can possibly imagine and it is our imperishable inheritance!
Let your hope rise through rejoicing because heaven waits for you and this time helps produce that genuine faith in us.
If you’re struggling, SEEK GOD. Never forget to seek Him! Seek Him wholeheartedly and you will find Him. That’s a promise.
Important Reminders
You overcome fear and anxiety by taking your thoughts captive!
Tame that tongue and those thoughts! It is a discipline you must develop.
Every time worry, fear or anxiety pop up, don’t entertain those thoughts or emotions. Simply tell them to leave and replace those feelings and thoughts with the Word.
Read these verses. Recite James 1:2-6, 12-26, 1 Pe. 1:3-7 and Jer. 11-13 out loud (yes, all these verses). Write them verses out if they speak to your heart. Remember to breathe.
Remember what God has already done for you. Pray. Reach out to others. Put on worship music. Distance yourself from the thoughts and feelings where you wonder how you will pay for the bills and the “what if” list.
